The Opportunity
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in tech journalism
Role: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Write and publish timely accurate and engaging tech news articles on a daily basis.
Output of 4-5 articles daily (300600 words per article depending on the topic and format.)
Achieve a monthly output of 90 articles across all formats.
Cover breaking news across smartphones gaming GPUs laptops and consumer electronics.
Monitor industry trends product launches leaks and official announcements.
Optimize articles for search engines using relevant keywords metadata and content structure.
Verify facts specifications and claims using credible sources.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in tech journalism or content writing.
Strong understanding of consumer technology especially smartphones laptops and PC components.
Ability to write quickly without compromising accuracy or clarity.
Ability to maintain neutral non-promotional tone where required.
Basic understanding of benchmarking specifications and performance metrics is a plus.
Comfortable using CMS platforms.
Ability to embed charts reference sources and format cleanly.
Verify claims and avoid misinformation by properly researching sources.
Basic SEO understanding:

Keyword placement & density
Meta descriptions
Skimmable formatting

Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language.

Prefered Skills:

Ability to have a quick turnover time for articles.
Experience covering smartphones laptops gaming hardware GPUs and performance analysis.
Ability to interpret and translate technical terms into reader-friendly content.
Strong writing and content structuring skills.
