Tech Specialist Network
Job requirements
- Design and implement complex network solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices ensuring measurable improvements in network performance and reliability
- Develop scalable and secure network architecture for both on-premises and cloud environments
- Conduct comprehensive network assessments and performance analysis to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to create and execute detailed project plans for network infrastructure deployment and upgrades
- Oversee and optimize the management of routers switches firewalls load balancers and other network hardware and software
- Configure and manage network protocols IP addressing schemes routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP and network services including DNS and DHCP
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity
- Document network designs configurations and operational procedures to maintain accurate technical records
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards regulatory requirements and best practices for network operations and security
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP DNS HTTP/HTTPS SNMP
- Expertise in VPN LAN/WAN and wireless network solutions
- Experience with firewall configuration and security policies
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor SolarWinds Nagios or PRTG
- Strong proficiency in routing and switching technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with SD-WAN implementation and management
- Familiarity with MPLS and QoS technologies
- Ability to design redundant resilient and fault-tolerant network systems
- Knowledge of emerging networking technologies and trends
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related discipline
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification relevant to network engineering
- CompTIA Network or similar industry-recognized network certification
Experience Range: with at least 5 years of experience in network architecture or network engineering including hands-on experience designing configuring and maintaining large-scale enterprise networks Key Responsibilities:
