Job Summary
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong system and software testing experience in the automotive domain. The role involves designing and executing automated and manual tests developing test tools and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks and AI-driven test and manage continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
- Review system and software requirements and translate them into effective test system and software tests in HiL/SiL environments.
- Analyze test results identify defects assess impact and support root-cause analysis.
- Prepare update and maintain clear and accurate test reports and with requirements engineers and development teams to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Participate in requirement design and test reviews providing quality and risk-based inputs.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in automotive system and software testing.
- Hands-on experience with HiL/SiL test frameworks (manual and automated).
- Proficiency in diagnostics CAN CAN FD and LIN protocols and Vector tools (e.g. CANoe CANalyzer).Solid understanding of test strategies test design techniques and test execution.
- Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python with a minimum of 3 years of to AI-based tools including Copilot.
- Experience in both manual testing and Python-based automation is highly preferred.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Communication Instrumentation Computer Science or a related field
Additional Information :
8 years and 38 years of experience in system and software knowledge of testing methodologies and tool development.
Soft Skills: Self-driven quick learner with strong communicator with strong interpersonal ability to collaborate with global decision-making and prioritization skills in fast-paced -oriented with strong organizational skills.
