Job Scope
To provide technical service (in alignment with approved local and group practice) and support to customers with instrument maintenance calibration troubleshooting education and repair on our analytical the image of the company in co-operation with sales and specialist workforce. Become a specialist in frontline service of the device group.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Comprehensively understand and grasp the particularity of the technology application and maintenance of DiaSorin products. Participate in the training courses on DiaSorin Products technologies and services and pass the training examination.
- Providing technical service and maintenance service support to dealers and to end users in and after sales: Assist sales team with technical inputs demonstrations to successfully close details.
- Frequently visit the users for monitoring the satisfaction and technical demand of end users of DiaSorin company and distributors. Produce weekly work reports for discussion and for Service Managers approvals.
- Monitoring the technological advantages and disadvantages and application situations of the competing products in the market produce monthly report for discussion for Service Managers approvals.
- Manage and report all activities through SFDC on a daily basis as per the corporate policies. Other missions assigned by DHIPL Country Manager and National Service Manager.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and supplying adequate inputs into the service organization. Handle manage and maintain spare parts and car stock through SGAT.
- Provide technical service and maintenance service support to end users as per the organizational requirements.
- All the service activities have to be captured in SFDC on a daily basis and all the calls to be concluded on the same day as per corporate policies.
- All country stock spare parts inventory status to be updated on a monthly basis.
- Any other task may be assigned by the National Service Manager from time to time.
Education Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or diploma in Engineering
- 5-7 years in a field directly related to the work
- Previous experience in the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and/or highly regulated environments and biotechnology industry.
- Previous IVD service experience
- Knowledge and skill in preventative maintenance in installing servicing troubleshooting repairing calibrating and maintaining medical diagnostic or clinical laboratory instrumentation
- Knowledge/understanding of electronics and medical terminology
- Ability to demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment
- Understanding of good laboratory practices and techniques
- Working knowledge of diagnostic equipment
- Current Drivers Licence
