The role offers an opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges work with diverse customers worldwide and engage in a dynamic varied work environment. You will be required to deeply understand the technology landscape and evaluate the use of new technologies. As an influential member of the team you will collaborate with peers and senior leaders to define and refine the standards for operational excellence across AEP Products. You will consistently address abstract issues spanning multiple functional areas driving your team to pursue scalable improvements across other teams services and platforms.

You independently manage a team of engineers. You are able to hire develop and promote engineers.
You establish a roadmap and successfully deliver partnering effectively with customers and stakeholders
You define clear goals and objectives.
Your team has an effective engineering process and consistently delivers results with minimal defects and disruption.
You communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing to all types of audiences.
You work successfully with customers leaders and other engineering teams.
You define metrics to measure team progress customer experience solution quality and operational excellence.
Your team has customer engagement mechanisms adheres to SLAs and effectively manages operations.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- Experience driving projects to improve operations and support-related processes
- Experience designing building operating and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services
- Experience writing scripts and automating processes with an understanding of the complete deployment life cycle from design build test deploy
