Job Summary

Job Title Store Supervisor Job Summary The Maintenance Store Supervisor oversees the receipt storage inventory control and issuance of maintenance materials spare parts tools and consumables. The role ensures efficient stock management minimizes downtime by maintaining adequate inventory levels and supports maintenance teams with timely availability of required items. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the maintenance store. Receive inspect and verify incoming spare parts tools and maintenance materials. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and computerized systems (ERP/CMMS). Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions when required. Ensure proper storage labelling and preservation of materials. Issue materials and spare parts to maintenance personnel according to procedures. Conduct regular inventory counts cycle counts and annual stock audits. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement warehouse and maintenance departments. Track critical spare parts and ensure availability to prevent equipment downtime. Maintain housekeeping safety and environmental standards within the store. Prepare inventory and consumption reports for management. Train and supervise storekeepers and store assistants. Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures. Required Qualifications Diploma- Elec./Mech or Bachelorsdegree Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field. 56 years of experience in maintenance stores warehouse operations or inventory management. Knowledge of maintenance spare parts tools and equipment. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle Maximo or similar inventory software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting. Required Skills Inventory management and stock control. Knowledge of maintenance and engineering materials. Leadership and team supervision. Strong organizational and planning skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
