Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
- Contribute to customer service product direction as part of a cross-functional team that includes AI scientists developers UX researchers and product managers.
- Work together to translate complex AI and automation concepts into intuitive easy-to-use experiences that empower customers to resolve their issues quickly and efficiently.
- Drive innovation by leveraging your deep experience in UX design best practices through every step of the product development process from observing customers to understand their needs to meticulously crafting highly polished intuitive interfaces.
- Confidently engage with executives and stakeholders when presenting the teams work and discussing their feedback.
- Contribute to a healthy creative problem-solving culture while helping those around you raise the bar for our customers.
A day in the life
A day in the life of a Senior UX Designer in Amazon Customer Service is fast-paced highly collaborative and highly focused on our customers. You will participate in meetings to review and provide feedback on detailed documentation and lead sessions where you share customer insights challenges and the UX solutions you and your team have developed. You will work closely with UX researchers writers producers and other designers while also collaborating extensively with product managers developers and AI scientists to reinvent and reimagine solutions for our customers. - 8 years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML JavaScript CSS Ajax
- Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
