Sr Staff CAD Engineer

We are seeking a Sr Staff Engineer CAD to develop and deploy Frontend and Backend tools and flows for Digital Designs done in the company. This role is part of the global CAD team.

Job Description

• Own some part of the overall CAD solution and be responsible for WW engagement with customers.
• Good understanding of Digital Implementation Methodologies.
• Hands-on in development & debug of CAD flows and with industry leading EDA tools in Digital Designs
• Proactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups tool training sessions and consistent support throughout the entire deployment process.
• Hands-on in mature software development practices leading programming languages for potential AI/ML development tasks
• Expected to work in a dynamic design environment
• Evaluate EDA tools and flows for improved design efficiency and turnaround time
• Experienced in leading small team.

Qualifications :

• BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 10 years of experience in EDA/CAD.
• Proven experience in supporting mature-node technologies (e.g. 22nm 12nm).
• Expertise in Synopsys/Cadence RTL to GDS digital design flow.
   (e.g. synthesis tools implementation tools and STA tools)
• Strong scripting skills (Tcl Perl Python) for automation of RTL to GDS digital design flow  (e.g. synthesis implementation tools and STA flows)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) problem solving teamwork attention to detail commitment to task and quality focus
• Can do attitude openness to new environment people and culture
• Ability to propose innovative and leading-edge solutions
• Strong drive & ability to coordinate work across highly experienced global teams
