As a Sr. Product Designer on the CareHub team youll join a collaborative group of designers who care deeply about creating cohesive intuitive product experiences that have a real impact. Our design team plays a central role in solving meaningful problems for millions of members managing their joint and muscle health making a tangible difference in their lives every day.

CareHub is where care happens at Hinge Health its the unified platform that connects our physical therapists health coaches and care managers to members enabling them to deliver personalized high-quality MSK care. Clinicians use CareHub to manage patient histories care plans documentation and communication across multiple tools.

In this role youll be responsible for crafting interfaces so intuitive that our clinical teams can focus on what matters most caring for patients not navigating software. Youll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering partners to design experiences that simplify complex workflows while meeting regulatory and clinical requirements.

Youll be based in Bengaluru and reporting to a Design Manager who partners closely with Product and Engineering leadership. What Youll Accomplish

• Develop a vision for our product experience; identify and visualize opportunities to up-level our care experience to benefit both our care team members and our business.

• Lead the development and delivery of solutions that meet intended goals and create outcomes that positively impact key metrics.

• Be a steward of great product design by ensuring solutions set high visual and interaction design quality standards.

• Identify needs and key opportunities for user input; help plan and conduct user research with our user research team with contextual interviews think-alouds A/B tests surveys and analysis.

• Collaborate with engineers product managers care team members and other designers to ensure designs drive desired UX business and technical outcomes.

• Mentor and grow fellow designers while evangelizing design practices and finding opportunities to elevate confidence in design across the larger company.

With a 0 to 1 mindset you are comfortable navigating ambiguity and partnering closely with product and engineering teammates to make decisions quickly learn and iterate. You are an innovator who pulls inspiration from unexpected sources and actively explores how emerging tools like generative AI can enhance workflows.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in product design collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams.

• Bachelors degree in Interaction Design Industrial Design Product Design Service Design HumanComputer Interaction or equivalent practical experience.

• End-to-end portfolio demonstrating ownership of product design work including examples of shipped or in-market products that show both interaction and visual design capabilities.

• Visual design expertise applying principles including layout iconography and typography to create cohesive and accessible interfaces.

• Prototyping proficiency using tools and methods to test validate and communicate design intent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of many mediums: You design seamlessly across mobile desktop wearables and other interfaces.

• AI curiosity: You actively explore how emerging tools like generative AI can enhance workflows creativity or product experiences.

• Passion for Healthcare or Fitness: You are passionate about enabling others to live their healthiest lives through design and technology.

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.

This is a Bengaluru-based role that involves regular interaction and collaboration with Hinge Health colleagues in San Francisco CA. Time zones: San Francisco is the Pacific Time Zone which is 12 hours and 30 minutes behind India Standard Time for example 8am in San Francisco is 8:30pm in Bengaluru. Standard working hours in San Francisco are between 8am - 6pm. For this role applicants should be open to meetings in the late evening following India Standard Time.
