Team Overview

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for network and infrastructure incidents.

• Execute non-project driven work such as system upgrades patching inventory management and configuration changes.

• Deploy service improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations.

• Ensure adherence to Change Management processes.

• Support small-scale projects that do not require full project governance.

• Maintain and enhance departmental procedures best practices and standards.

• Manage escalation of issues to relevant third-party vendors.

• Own release and rollback through the Route to Live deployment process.

• Share knowledge with 1st and 2nd line teams to enable first-line fixes.

• Mentor and coach team members to support their development.

• Participate in on-call weekdays/weekends on rotational basis.

• Responsible for Infrastructure Operations Firewalls IPS and IDS and Antivirus.

• Responsible for Firewall Rules and Policies Management and Troubleshooting Implementing of NAT/PAT SSH signatures etc

• Experience in managing SD-WAN solutions and Palo Alto firewall technologies including corporate firewall environments.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• Self-starter with proven ability to develop creative solutions that simplify user network solutions. Work collaboratively across teams spanning multiple time zones

• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP routing switching wireless) and UNIX based knowledge.

• Overall 6 years of experience in Network

• 3 years of progressive experience in VPN technologies (Cisco Any Connect and Zero Trust Network Access Solutions).

• 3 years of progressive experience in wireless LAN technologies (prefer Cisco Meraki & Aruba)

• 2 years of progressive experience in SDWAN technologies (prefer Viptela & Meraki)
  Optimize and Implement Wireless LAN (WIFI) implementation by adjusting AP groups RF settings band steering WLAN settings etc. to improve WIFI connectivity for end-users.

• Manage and maintain WIFI security by ensuring adequate level of authentication standards limiting user access and rogue detection and containment Firewall & routing

• Excellent troubleshooting and fault resolution skills.

• ITIL best practices and ITSM tools experience.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage third-party vendors.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
