Job Title: Senior DB Developer
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Experience:6 yrs
Main location: Hyderabad
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Database Developer I with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and MongoDB to design develop optimize and maintain robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Database Development & Design

. Design and develop complex PL/SQL packages procedures functions and triggers
. Build and maintain efficient data models schemas and database structures
. Develop and manage MongoDB collections queries and aggregation pipelines
. Ensure data integrity consistency and security across systems

Performance Optimization

. Analyze and optimize slow-running queries and database performance
. Implement indexing strategies and query tuning techniques
. Monitor database performance and recommend improvements
. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions

Data Integration & Processing

. Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
. Integrate data between relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems
. Work with large datasets and ensure efficient data processing

Collaboration & Support

. Collaborate with developers architects and QA teams for seamless delivery
. Participate in design discussions and provide database expertise
. Support release activities deployments and production support
. Document technical designs data flows and best practices


Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills

. Strong experience in Oracle Database development (PL/SQL)
. Hands-on experience with MongoDB (CRUD operations indexing aggregation)
. Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
. Experience in data modeling (ER diagrams normalization/denormalization)
. Knowledge of ETL tools or scripting (Shell Python etc.)
. Familiarity with database migration and data transformation

Tools & Technologies

. Oracle SQL Developer / TOAD
. MongoDB Compass / Shell
. Version control tools (Git Bitbucket)
. CI/CD exposure is a plus

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience with Oracle performance tuning tools (AWR ASH reports)
. Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS Azure Cosmos DB etc.)
. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
. Experience in domains like Banking.
