Sr. Contingent Workforce Business Partner, APAC
Job Summary

The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Sr. APAC CWBP will be deeply engaged with business leaders serving as a visible and trusted strategic advisor on how best to leverage contingent workforce solutions. This person will collaborate cross functionally to foster ownership trust and partnership while bringing usage and industry trends business insights and clear recommendations that help leaders the HRBP community and key stakeholders make informed decisions as priorities evolve.
The ideal candidate will be embedded in the business building trusted relationships and maintaining a visible influential presence with leaders and key stakeholders through:
- Strategic leadership: Build scalable contingent workforce strategies and influence cross-functional partners to deliver results.
- Business agility: Translate evolving & complex priorities into practical plans and pivot the approach as business needs change.
- Industry perspective: Bring a thoughtful point of view on the contingent workforce landscape and identify talent strategies that help the business move faster scale smarter mitigate risk
- Visible influence: Contribute insights that are seen heard and valued in business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of LinkedIns business priorities and evolving needs to anticipate challenges identify opportunities and shape contingent workforce strategies that enable the business to achieve its goals.
- Build and continuously evolve the APAC CW program strategy in partnership with the CWBP Community that is scalable visible and provides the right level of support to all key stakeholders
- Establish a visible and trusted presence with managers leaders and cross functional partners while consulting influencing and managing contingent workforce matters.
- Conduct business reviews with top program users of all types of CWs (ie. OSP ICs Contractors Professional Services)
- Drive regional program & global project initiatives
- Drive CW elearning content for end users & org trainings
- Drive adoption and awareness of CW brand and reinforce its mission
- Facilitate resolution of CW relations issues accommodation requests investigations and other HR issues for CWs
- Deliver business insights and recommendations based on labor market and data-driven analysis to the business
- Proactively identify areas of risk and partner with Programs Legal and Policy teams to drive solutions to mitigate risks
- Partner with internal communications and security teams on communications that impact contingent workers and supplier community
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- 7 years of progressive experience in Contingent Workforce program management HR Management or Strategic Sourcing in a Professional Services category
- 2 years of inhouse Contingent Workforce program management experience
- Well versed working with Contingent Worker classifications ie. Staff Aug Professional Services Outsourced BPO RPO Gig Independent Contractors etc.
- 3 years experience working with internal team and stakeholders in NAMER EMEAL and APAC a geographically dispersed team
- 2 years experience managing multiple global projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Contingent Workforce Business Partner or HR Business Partner experience
- Effective communicator with a superb ability to consult and influence
- Self-Starter and able to drive efforts and projects through relationships and a broad knowledge base
- Extensive experience with outsourcing/offshoring including vendor management vendor transitions Statement of Work (SOW) development contracting changing pricing models
- Strong leadership organizational and stakeholder management skills with the executive presence to build credibility contribute a clear point of view and be recognized as a valued strategic partner.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capability to process high amounts of data to drive business strategies and decisions
- Creative thinker; drives problem solving productive discussions and solutioning in difficult or ambiguous areas
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and risk anticipate shifts in business needs and confidently pivot initiatives and strategies while maintaining alignment with broader program goals
- Robust sense of accountability; sound personal judgment capacity to handle confidential information appropriately
- Demonstrated presentation skills across various levels of senior management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
