ROLE SUMMARY

We are hiring a finance and accounting professional responsible for end-to-end financial management of assigned real estate investment structures including deal onboarding ongoing portfolio accounting and disposition activities.

This role operates as a deal owner partnering directly with Revantage APAC and Blackstone stakeholders ensuring accurate financial reporting strong governance and timely execution across the investment lifecycle.

The individual is also expected to drive quality efficiency and continuous improvement across team operations working collaboratively with the broader Revantage APAC and Revantage India team to enhance delivery standards streamline processes and support a scalable operating model.

Primary Role

1. Deal Ownership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary finance contact for assigned deals/entities working directly with Revantage APAC and Blackstone stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations provide insights on financial performance and respond to queries independently
  • Coordinate across internal teams (Tax Treasury Legal Corporate Secretarial Valuation) and external parties (auditors JV partners external lenders)
  • Ensure strong governance documentation and audit readiness across all deliverables

2. Deal Onboarding (Acquisition Phase)

  • Manage acquisition-related deliverables including:
    • Funds flow and capitalization through the deal structure
    • Working capital and closing cost schedules
    • Review of key legal funding and corporate documents
  • Coordinate onboarding across stakeholders (legal advisors external lenders sellers) to ensure completeness and accuracy of deal closing documentation

3. Portfolio Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting and reporting for allocated entities including:
    • Month-end / quarter-end closing accruals and intercompany reconciliation
    • Review of management accounts quarterly fair value assessments cash analysis and NAV analysis
  • Monitor liquidity cash flow working capital and closing costs
  • Maintain key schedules including imputed interest amortization accruals closing costs and debt tracking
  • Provide support to the tax team for all tax reporting deliverables (e.g. US Tax GST filings)

4. Capital Transactions & Treasury Coordination

  • Lead execution of capital transactions including:
    • Capitalization distributions and funding flows
    • Solvency assessments and compliance with legal and tax requirements
  • Review corporate and legal documentation for all capital transactions
  • Coordinate fund transfers with Treasury to ensure timely execution
  • Manage debt financing lifecycle (drawdown servicing repayment covenant compliance)

5. Deal Disposition & Liquidation

  • Support and lead financial workstreams for asset disposals including:
    • Preparation of funds flow and distribution calculations
    • Working capital assessment for liquidation
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial closure

6. Audit Financial Statements & Compliance

  • Prepare and/or review annual financial statements and coordinate audit process
  • Liaise directly with external auditors and resolve audit queries
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory reporting and regulatory filings

7. Team Leadership & COE Oversight

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
  • Support knowledge sharing and consistency in execution across the team
  • Provide guidance coaching and technical training to junior team members
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues escalating where appropriate

8. Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements automation and standardization
  • Support ERP enhancements system testing and new reporting initiatives
  • Contribute to SOP development and strengthening of control frameworks

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline
  • Professional qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
  • 79 years relevant experience in real estate / private equity / fund accounting
  • Strong understanding of investment fund structures deal lifecycle and investment accounting
  • Experience working with cross-border stakeholders and external auditors

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage complex datasets is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders independently including senior clients)
