We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP APO Consultant to lead and drive the development enhancement and support of SAP APO applications. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP APO Consultant to lead and drive the development enhancement and support of SAP APO applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in integrating APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP development and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and implementation of SAP APO solutions ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop test and deploy SAP APO modules including Demand Planning Supply Network Planning and Inventory Optimization.
- Integrate SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems ensuring data consistency and efficient data exchange.
- Optimize APO processes and performance identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP APO applications resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Document and maintain technical specifications design documents and knowledge base articles.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP APO technologies and trends and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP APO.
- Proven expertise in developing and supporting SAP APO applications with a strong understanding of APO modules.
- Experience in integrating SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP ABAP programming including ABAP Objects OOPs concepts and SAP HANA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its integration capabilities.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
