As a Specialist in the D&A team you will focus on developing analytical solutions for multi-functional teams ultimately empowering the organization to make more data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for transforming data leveraging a technology stack that includes Snowflake dbt Python and SQL you will assemble large sophisticated data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Working with various stakeholders you will gather requirements and deliver compliant efficient sustainable and well-documented analytics solutions leveraging this data.
Analytics and Visualization Build: Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver compliant efficient sustainable and well-documented analytics solutions. Build visualizations using tools such as Sigma Domo or similar.
Data Transformation: Develop support and maintain consumption layers using Snowflake dbt Python and SQL to support various analytics needs.
Architecture Compliance: Understand and stay compliant with the medallion architecture to ensure organized data progression and quality.
Standard Stack: Leverage the standard data engineering technology stack to deliver data pipelines that are compliant with enterprise standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Identify design and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes and optimizing analytics delivery.
Emerging Tech: Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies within the analytics engineering space.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with various stakeholders across the company to understand business data strategy requirements and translate it to analytics execution
Technical Assistance: Assist with data and analytics related technical issues and support business needs.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other business and technical teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
Code Quality: Perform code reviews and help enforce data and analytics engineering standards and best practices.
Compliance: Ensure solutions are compliant with enterprise standards policies and best practices.
Documentation: Build document and maintain various components.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Experience: At least 4-5 years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer Data Engineer or related role.
Business Collaboration: At least 4-5 years of experience in collaborating with business teams understanding requirements and translating them into analytics solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
Programming: Experience developing in Python and SQL. Proficiency in dbt (optional)
Data Warehouses: Experience working with Snowflake (optional)
Visualization: Experience developing visualizations in Sigma Tableau Domo or similar.
Databases: Experience in interacting with and using databases & SQL.
Version Control: Experience using Git GitHub or other version-controlled code management tools.
Monitoring: Experience in application-status monitoring usage of FinOps tools while modeling and executing analytics workloads.
Automation: Familiarity with software-automation production systems (GitHub Actions Selenium etc.).
Deployment: Familiarity with code deployment tools.
