Job Summary

Job Summary:
The South Indian Cook is responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes maintaining food quality hygiene standards and ensuring timely meal service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli dosa vada sambar chutneys rice items and meals

  • Ensure taste quality and consistency of all food items

  • Plan daily menu in coordination with management

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area

  • Monitor stock levels and assist in purchasing raw materials

  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and minimize wastage

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards

  • Manage kitchen helpers and ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Ensure timely preparation and serving of food

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a South Indian Cook

  • Knowledge of traditional South Indian recipes and cooking methods

  • Ability to cook in large quantities (for canteen)

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

  • Good time management and teamwork skills




Required Skills:

Knowledge of textile dyeing and printing processes Strong coordination and follow-up skills Good communication and problem-solving ability Basic computer knowledge (Excel reporting) Attention to detail and quality focus


Required Education:

Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or related field 15 years of experience in textile processing (preferred)
