About The Role:

You are the connective tissue across our Engineering function. Owning the end-to-end technical design of a domain ensuring multiple sub-domains and systems form a coherent ecosystem. This entails translating business ambition and product vision and combining it with technical execution to create practical and scalable and AI-native end-to-end solutions that deliver real outcomes.

What youll do:

With a specific focus across domains you unite expertise with architectural vision and make the complex simple. You ensure technical solutions - both the what and the how are accomplished across the technology ecosystem with AI-assisted development embedded as a first-class practice across the teams you influence.

Working collaboratively is second nature - you guide key decisions negotiate trade-offs and oversee execution; ensuring every solution strengthens our product vision. In short you make ambition buildable and strategy actionable! You bring architecture into product planning early not as a reviewer at the end but as a co-designer from the start.

Youll partner with

  • Peer Solution Architects and Engineering Directors to align architecture with business strategy and enable teams to move faster with confidence.

  • Product leaders business stakeholders Staff Engineers Engineering VPs and Directors and external thought leaders

About you:

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale solutions across multiple geographies

  • You bring context clarity and creativity; shape designs that are both strategically sound and practically executable and that account for the evolving capabilities of AI-assisted development tooling

  • The ultimate problem solver and business partner; you possess excellent business acumen to spot both the solution and the opportunity.

  • Ability to see the bigger picture across the whole technology ecosystem.

  • First class communication skills to convey complex architectural decisions in a clear and concise manner so engineering teams product leaders and business stakeholders all understand what is to be built and why

  • Always one-step ahead - you actively shape how AI-native development practices evolve within the organisation not just adopt them

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 15 years of experience in software engineering building software products at scale with at least 3 years as a Tech Lead Staff Engineer or Architect responsible for defining and delivering technology solutions across complex domains

  • Expert fluency in at least 2 programing languages including Python NodeJS; working knowledge of AI code generation tools (Codex/Claude Code/Cursor/GitHub Copilot/ Augment Code) change development workflows and code quality standards

  • Good understanding of Agentic AI concepts and hands-on experience working on on Agentic AI projects in production including agent orchestration LLM tool use evaluation frameworks guardrail design and multi-agent pipeline architecture

  • Demonstrable experience defining and governing AI-assisted development practices within an engineering organisation including how agentic tooling integrates into CI/CD pipelines code review test automation and production readiness standards

  • Experience with cloud native ecosystems(AWS/Azure) with exposure on deployment infrastructure observability security and resilience paradigms

  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in Product Management UX and Analytics teams across different geographies and time zones

  • Ability to translate highly complex technical requirements into easily digestible and actionable plans

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate effectively on technology solutions and their business impact

  • Ability to coach mentor engineers across levels with the ability to build architectural thinking and AI fluency across the organisation elevating technical capability beyond your immediate team
