Software Engineering Test Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on managing the entire quality engineering lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automation aiming to elevate control precision and data integrity throughout the testing phases. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing within the development workflow fostering improvements in efficiency and reliability of software delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation and implement scalable testing frameworks.- Mentor junior team members to build their skills and support their professional growth.- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align testing strategies with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium Java automation testing.- Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.- Ability to integrate automated tests with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.- Familiarity with scripting languages commonly used in automation such as Java Python or JavaScript.- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
