Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior RPA Developer will work as part of a dynamic team responsible for designing developing and implementing RPA solutions. This role acts as a vital bridge between technical development and the business actively collaborating with segment leaders to solicit new automation opportunities build a robust project pipeline and create efficient RPA bots that drive continuous operational improvement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Junior RPA Developer will partner with Procurement Accounts Payable and other key Business Stakeholders to understand key business processes and proactively propose solutions that will improve the organizations operations. The Junior RPA Developer will interface with process owners segment resources IT staff and end-users in the execution of his/her duties and responsibilities:

1. Solicit & Discover: Actively engage with business stakeholders to host discovery sessions solicit new automation ideas and build a continuous pipeline of RPA projects.

2. Business Case Development: Analyze process workflows inputs and outputs to determine automation feasibility and calculate potential time savings/ROI to pitch proposed solutions to leadership.

3. Bot Development: Design develop test and deploy RPA bots using Automation Anywhere RPA software.

4. System Integration: Configure bots to interact seamlessly with various applications databases and enterprise systems.

5. Continuous Optimization: Implement updates and enhancements to existing RPA solutions as required to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6. RPA Evangelism & Support: Provide training and support to end-users showcasing successful automations to stakeholders to generate excitement and adoption of RPA capabilities.

7. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of RPA development processes bot configurations process mapping and changes made throughout the lifecycle.

8. Training Materials: Develop user manuals and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Science in Engineering

2. Prior experience with RPA programming software: Automation Anywhere UI Path Power Automate etc.;

3. Prior experience in business process analysis process mapping or requirements gathering to aid in soliciting new projects;

4. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including the ability to create formula-based spreadsheets sort and pivot data from multiple systems;

5. Proficiency in MS Outlook Word and PowerPoint;

6. Extremely organized with excellent follow-up skills;

7. Strong consultative verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently pitch ideas and communicate at all levels of the organization across global time zones;

8. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a strong focus on cost management and ROI;

9. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
