Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a skilled Software Engineer - AWS Cloud Engineer to support the design automation deployment and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core AWS services Infrastructure as Code concepts Python CI/CD practices and container technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design deploy and support AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2 VPC and IAM.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as AWS CloudFormation AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or terraform.
Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python to improve cloud operations and deployment workflows.
Support CI/CD processes for application and infrastructure deployments.
Work with container technologies to support modern application deployment patterns.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure cloud solutions are secure scalable reliable and maintainable.

Required Qualifications
Good understanding of AWS services including EC2 VPC and IAM.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and familiarity with CloudFormation AWS CDK or Terraform.
Hands-on experience with Python.
Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
Experience with container technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other relevant AWS certification.
Exposure to MLOps / AIOps within AWS Cloud
Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Hive and EMR within AWS Cloud.
