About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AUTOSAR Diagnostic Testing Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in automotive ECU validation and diagnostic testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating AUTOSAR Diagnostic Stack implementations developing automated test solutions and ensuring compliance with OEM and AUTOSAR standards. You will work closely with development teams system architects and suppliers to deliver high-quality automotive software solutions.
What You Will Do
- Validate AUTOSAR Diagnostic Stack modules including DCM DEM NvM and related BSW components.
- Design develop and execute diagnostic test cases based on system and software requirements.
- Perform UDS diagnostic testing on automotive ECUs.
- Execute functional integration regression and interoperability testing activities.
- Develop diagnostic test automation using CAPL Python or CANoe test modules.
- Analyze CAN LIN FlexRay and Ethernet communication logs to identify issues.
- Work with suppliers and development teams to reproduce debug and resolve defects.
- Validate Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) fault memory management and diagnostic communication services.
- Perform ECU flashing configuration and software validation activities.
- Create test reports defect reports and validation summaries.
- Participate in requirement reviews traceability analysis and test planning activities.
- Support SIL HIL and vehicle-level diagnostic validation.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Diagnostic Testing.
- Strong understanding of AUTOSAR Classic Architecture and module interactions.
- Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Diagnostic Stack Integration and Validation.
- Good knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229) OBD and automotive diagnostics.
- Experience working with CAN LIN FlexRay and Ethernet communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe CANalyzer and related automotive testing tools.
- Strong understanding of ECU diagnostics DTC handling and fault management.
- Experience in CAPL scripting and diagnostic test automation.
- Good knowledge of Embedded Systems and vehicle network architecture.
- Strong debugging and defect analysis skills.
- Familiarity with JIRA DOORS/DNG Git and test management tools.
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE processes and software development lifecycle.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in Diagnostic Stack Integration (DCM DEM FIM NvM).
- Exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) concepts.
- Experience in HIL testing and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Secure Diagnostics and Automotive Cybersecurity.
- Exposure to Adaptive AUTOSAR diagnostics.
- Experience with ECU flashing tools such as Vector vFlash DTS Monaco or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with Python-based automotive test automation.
- Experience in supplier software validation and interoperability testing.
