Key job responsibilities
Work with product managers in developing a strategy and roadmap to provide compelling capabilities for our customers.
Work closely with SDEs Sr SDEs and SDMs to develop the best technical approach for new product development to solve business problems.
Instill best practices for software development and documentation and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
Design implement test deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance durability cost and security.
Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all team deliverables.
Write high-quality distributed system software.
Work in an agile development environment where you are always working on the most impactful priorities.
Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and new services and make recommendations for technology improvements that will help shape the future of payment platform architectures.
Deliver Proof-of-Concepts and proposals for integrations with emerging technologies.
Operational Excellence monitoring and operation of production services.

A day in the life
Your day starts with design reviews where you collaborate with engineers to evaluate technical approaches for new credit features. Youll spend time coding full-stack solutions writing clean and maintainable software that handles financial transactions securely. Throughout the day you engage in operational excellence activities monitoring system health responding to operational events and implementing improvements that enhance reliability. You participate in inclusive technical discussions mentor teammates through code reviews and balance new feature development with operational priorities to ensure customers have seamless access to lending products.

- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
