Job Title - Software Asset Manager

Experience - 5- 10 Years

Location - Hyderabad

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Requirements:-

Software Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage the full software lifecycle including request procurement deployment usage optimisation renewal and retirement.
• Maintain an accurate software inventory and entitlement repositoryacross SAM tools CMDB and financial systems.
• Establish and operate Effective Licence Position (ELP)for major publishers.

Licence Compliance & Audit Management

• Interpret software licence agreements contracts and usage rights for major publishers (e.g. Microsoft Oracle IBM SAP Adobe).
• Ensure enterprise compliance and proactively identify licence risks shortfalls and overdeployment.
• Lead preparation defence and closure of internal and external software audits

Cost Optimisation & Value Realisation

• Identify opportunities for licence optimisation reharvesting demand management and cost avoidance.
• Support vendor renewals trueups and negotiation strategies in collaboration with Procurement Finance and Legal.
• Provide actionable insights to support budgeting forecasting and financial governance

Governance Process & Stakeholder Management

• Define and enforce SAM policies standards and controlsaligned with ITIL and ISO 19770.
• Act as the SAM process owner driving continual service improvement (CSI)and maturity growth.
• Partner with IT Security Finance Procurement Legal and business stakeholders to ensure aligned outcomes
