JD :Join us as a Software Asset Management AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite Analyst to join our team .This is a remote position supporting the management and optimisation of our Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) estate operating across both on-premise and cloud-based elements of our Flexera One successful candidate will work within a complex enterprise IT environment in the financial services sector and will be expected to contribute to discovery inventory licence management automation and integration workstreams from day one.What youll doAs a Software Asset Management Analyst youll be providing input to and supporting the teams activities to ensure the integrity of the platform (Flexera) is maintained while supporting change demands from domains or centres of excellence. Youll be supporting the delivery of a robust service addition youll be contributing to the delivery of customer outcomes innovation and early learning by contributing to test products and services to identify early on if they are viable and deliver the desired role will involve:Assist with discovery configuration beacon management and inventory coverage auditingDay-to-day administration and support of ITAM beacon architectureOptimisation of existing beacon architecture including migrations to strategic OS platformsTroubleshoot inventory discovery and licence reconciliation issuesDevelop and maintain automation scripts to support SAM/ITAM processesSupport integration workstreams including ServiceNow CMDB data flowsContribute to licence position accuracy and data quality improvement initiativesProduce and maintain technical documentation for processes and configurationsWork collaboratively with UK-based team membersThe skills youll needFlexera FlexNet Manager SuiteHands-on experience administering FlexNet Manager Suite in an enterprise environmentBeacon configuration management and troubleshootingInventory and discovery strategy agent-based and agentless methodsSubnet and beacon placement across complex network topologiesNDI file handling and processing (including Unix/Linux environments)Infrastructure & Windows AdministrationWindows Server administration intermediate to advanced levelActive Directory user group and OU management; integration with Flexera discoverySQL Server writing and optimising queries managing staging tables troubleshootingNetworking fundamentals subnets VLANs firewall rules proxy configurationUnderstanding of enterprise security controls and least-privilege principlesAutomation & ScriptingPowerShell scripting REST/SOAP API interaction SQL data handling scheduled tasksPython scripting automation API integration data processingExperience working with staging pipelines and bulk data operationsAbility to write clean documented maintainable scripts suitable for production useit is RED please enable 2-3 immediate joining
