Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design develop and optimize cloud-based data warehousing solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have experience in data modeling ETL/ELT development performance tuning and integrating data from multiple sources into Snowflake. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders data engineers and analytics teams to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Create and optimize data models including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and related tools.
• Implement data ingestion processes from various structured and unstructured data sources.
• Write complex SQL queries stored procedures tasks streams and views in Snowflake.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance storage and compute costs.
• Implement data security governance and access controls within Snowflake.
• Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to support reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Troubleshoot data quality performance and integration issues.
• Participate in data architecture and cloud migration initiatives.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL and database development.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica Matillion Talend DBT or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Experience with Snowflake features such as:
  • Virtual Warehouses
  • Streams & Tasks
  • Time Travel
  • Zero-Copy Cloning
  • Snowpipe
  • Secure Data Sharing
• Experience working with cloud platforms:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
• Understanding of performance tuning and query optimization.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.

Preferred Certifications:

• SnowPro Core Certification
• AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Certifications
