Snowflake DBT Architect
Job Summary
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will drive Snowflake architecture data modeling transformation frameworks using DBT and data platform modernization initiatives while ensuring scalability performance security and governance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable secure and high-performing Snowflake data warehouse solutions. Define enterprise data architecture standards best practices and governance frameworks. Lead the development of DBT-based transformation models testing frameworks and deployment strategies. Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data integration and analytics workloads. Develop dimensional and enterprise data models to support reporting analytics and business intelligence needs. Perform Snowflake performance tuning workload optimization and cost management. Establish data quality metadata management lineage and governance processes. Collaborate with business stakeholders architects and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Provide technical leadership architecture guidance and mentoring to development teams. Drive cloud data platform modernization initiatives leveraging AWS/Azure services and Snowflake capabilities. Ensure compliance with security regulatory and organizational data management standards. Support CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platform deployments and releases. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Architecture and Administration. Extensive experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) including models tests macros and deployment frameworks. Expertise in Data Warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and data architecture. Strong SQL development and query optimization skills. Experience designing enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions. Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms. Strong understanding of Snowflake performance tuning clustering partitioning and cost optimization. Experience with data governance security access controls and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of CI/CD version control and automation practices. Experience working in Agile delivery environments
