We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Telecommunications Network Inventory Management to design develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with Telecom Service Management (TSM)ServiceNow CSDM and network inventory modeling enabling accurate representation of telecom infrastructure (e.g. circuits devices services and relationships).
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development
Design develop and customize ServiceNow applications related to Telecommunications Network Inventory
Configure and extend modules such as:
Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Telecom Service Management (TSM)
Service Catalog and Workflow
Develop scripts (Client Scripts Business Rules Script Includes UI Policies) using JavaScript
Build and maintain custom integrations (REST/SOAP APIs) with telecom OSS/BSS systems
Telecom Network Inventory Management
Model telecom network components such as:
Network Nodes (Routers Switches BTS etc.)
Circuits Links Fiber/Transport layers
Logical & Physical network relationships
Maintain accurate network topology and service hierarchies
Support end-to-end service traceability (Customer services Network resources)
Align inventory with standards like:
TM Forum (SID eTOM frameworks)
CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
Integration & Automation
Implement integrations with:
OSS systems (Network Management Systems Inventory tools)
BSS platforms (CRM Billing)
Develop automated workflows for:
Service provisioning
Inventory reconciliation
Network change management
Utilize IntegrationHub MID Server and APIs
Data Quality & Governance
Ensure CMDB health and data accuracy
Implement reconciliation and normalization rules
Define governance processes for network inventory updates
Perform regular audits and improvements
Solution Design
Collaborate with architects and telecom SMEs to design scalable solutions
Translate telecom business requirements into technical designs
Document technical specifications workflows and configurations
Testing & Deployment
Develop test cases and perform unit integration and UAT testing
Support deployment using ServiceNow update sets / CI-CD pipelines
Provide post-deployment support and bug fixes
