Service Technician
Job Summary
OLA Electric is expanding its service network and is looking for dedicated Service Technicians who can deliver toptier maintenance and repair services for both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles. As a Service Technician you will become an integral part of a dynamic workshop team that supports the companys growth in the rapidly evolving mobility sector. Your daily responsibilities will involve a blend of routine maintenance tasks complex diagnostic work and handson repairs all performed in a safetyfirst environment.
The role demands a solid foundation in automotive mechanics with a particular emphasis on electric vehicle systems such as highvoltage batteries electric drivetrains and associated control electronics. While prior experience with EVs is highly valued candidates with a strong background in conventional vehicle service are also encouraged to apply as the position offers extensive onthejob training to bridge any knowledge gaps.
Key duties include performing scheduled maintenance conducting thorough inspections and executing repairs that meet OLA Electrics stringent quality benchmarks. You will use diagnostic tools like OBDII scanners multimeters and oscilloscopes to pinpoint issues quickly and accurately. Once a fault is identified you will repair or replace the faulty component whether it is a motor inverter wiring harness or mechanical part such as a brake caliper or suspension component.
Effective communication is essential. You will regularly interact with service advisors to relay diagnostic findings discuss repair options and set realistic expectations for customers. Collaboration with workshop supervisors ensures that workflow is optimized parts are available when needed and service bays are utilized efficiently. Accurate documentation on job cards and service logs is mandatory as it supports warranty claims future diagnostics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety and tool maintenance are nonnegotiable aspects of the position. You will follow OLA Electrics safety protocols wear appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure that all workshop tools are calibrated and stored correctly after each use.
