The Senior Administrator provides hands-on day-to-day technical support forWindows & VMwaresystems at an experienced level. The scope of this position includes mission critical support forWindows & VMwareservers all of which are in our Global Datacenters and Regional Datacenters. This individual will be part of a team thatis responsible forthe following operational areas: support administration monitoring and troubleshooting andparticipatingin technology driven projects to enhance our service.
Job Responsibilities
- Install configure and administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policies and PKI/Certificate Services.
- Install configure andmaintainVMware vSphere/ESXi vCenter HA DRSvMotion..
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Hyper-V clusters failover clustering.
- Perform EOL Windows Server upgrades VMwareESXi/vCenter upgrades and migration projects.
- Implement and support disaster recovery solutions (Zerto Veeam Hyper-V Replica).
- Apply system patching upgrades and security hardening.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for complexserver virtualization andPowerflexstorage issues.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLIfor routine tasks and reporting.
- Document technical processes architecture SOPs knowledge base articles and disaster recovery playbooks.
- Handle incidents and service requests ensuringtimelyresolution within defined SLAs.
- Drive Problem Management byidentifyingroot causes of recurring issues and implementing permanent fixes.
- Provide L2/L3 support and manage day-to-day infrastructure operations.
- Participate in Change Management by planning documenting and executing system changes in line with ITIL standards.
- Assistin infrastructure migration consolidation and capacity planning projects.
Requirements
- Bachelors DegreerequiredinComputersor related field
- 5-9years ofITexperienceand worked as a lead handling major projects/initiative
- Hands on Experience inWindows &VMwareandpart of troubleshooting and RCA analysis
- Provenexpertisein EOL Windows Server upgrades and VMwareESXi/vCenter upgrades.
- Strong experience in Incident Problem and Service Request Management withfocuson SLA adherence.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows VMware Hyper-V andPowerflexstorage.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory GPOs DNS DHCP and Certificate Services.
- Proficiencyin VMware vSphere/vCenter HA/DRS SRM.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V clusters failover clustering and replication.
- Experience with DR solutions (Zerto Veeam Hyper-V Replica).
- Proficiencyin PowerShell scripting (PowerCLIa plus).
- Experience with patch management tools (WSUS SCCM Thirdparttools).
- Strong skills in technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Passion foraddressing core issues and stabilizing the environmentwith automation mindset
