Role Overview

The Coupang Intelligent Cloud (CIC) organization is building the next-generation cloud platform that powers Coupangs rapidly expanding business. CIC provides the foundational infrastructure cloud services platform capabilities and operational excellence that enable engineering teams across the company to innovate at scale.

As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager you will drive large-scale cross-functional initiatives spanning cloud infrastructure compute networking storage AI infrastructure platform services operational excellence reliability capacity management and cloud business growth. You will partner closely with engineering leaders principal engineers product leaders finance security and operations teams to define strategy build execution plans and deliver business-critical outcomes.

This role requires a unique combination of technical depth organizational leadership operational rigor and strategic thinking. You will lead complex programs that influence the direction of CIC establish scalable operating mechanisms and ensure alignment across multiple organizations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while driving execution with urgency and accountability.

The ideal candidate can speak the language of engineers understand large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure influence without authority and navigate ambiguity while delivering measurable results.

BasicQualifications

• 12yearsofexperienceleadinglarge-scaletechnicalprogramsincloudinfrastructuredistributedsystemsenterpriseplatformsorrelatedtechnologydomains.
• Strongunderstandingofcloudinfrastructuredistributedsystemsnetworkingstoragecomputeplatformsandmodernsoftwaredevelopmentpractices.
• Experiencedrivingprogramsacrossthefullsoftwaredevelopmentlifecyclefromconceptthroughdeploymentandoperationalsupport.
• Stronganalyticalskillswiththeabilitytoleveragemetricsanddatatoinfluencedecisionsandmeasureoutcomes.
• Experienceidentifyingrootcausesmanagingrisksandsolvingcomplexorganizationalandtechnicalchallenges.

PreferredQualifications

• ExperienceworkinginhyperscalecloudinfrastructureplatformengineeringAIinfrastructureorlarge-scaledistributedsystemsenvironments.
