Senior Staff Engineer C++

• Lead the design architecture development integration and testing of complex software components and systems translating user and clinical needs into robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship driving design decisions code reviews engineering best practices design patterns SOLID principles and high-quality software development.
• Collaborate with R&D cross functional team Quality and Project Management teams to deliver products through the complete development and release lifecycle.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement through technology exploration prototyping process improvements and contributions to invention disclosures patents and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Modern C OOP SOLID principles design patterns and software architecture.
• Experience building scalable modular and maintainable software components.
• Hands-on experience with Qt/QML Google Test (or similar) debugging code coverage and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC software quality testing integration and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD Agile/Scrum Git Perforce or similar version control tools.
• Technical leadership experience including architecture reviews mentoring and regulated software development (medical devices preferred); exposure to 3D mathematics robotics navigation or imaging is a plus.
