• Champion Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a critical bridge between Mobile Web Backend and Product design teams breaking down silos to deliver unified end-to-end user journeys.

• Drive Technological Evolution: Use your learning agility to pilot and adopt emerging mobile technologies (like Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Flow) keeping our tech stack cutting-edge and highly adaptable to market shifts.

R&R (Roles & Responsibilities)

• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Lead the full mobile development lifecycle for Freshservice modulesfrom analyzing complex enterprise requirements and defining technical design to implementation testing and deployment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers UX Designers and Backend Engineers to co-create scalable API contracts and frictionless mobile workflows.

• Code Craftsmanship & Optimization: Write clean reusable and efficient code in Kotlin and Java. Continuously refactor and modernize the legacy codebase to improve maintainability and performance.

• Architectural & Quality Governance: Enforce Clean Architecture SOLID principles and rigorous code reviews to elevate team standards and minimize technical debt.

• Robust Enterprise Testing: Guarantee mission-critical app reliability by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests that cover edge cases performance bottlenecks and enterprise security vulnerabilities.

• Agile DevOps & Release Management: Manage and continuously optimize our mobile CI/CD pipelines automated testing suites and Play Store release processes to ensure rapid stable deployment cycles.

• Production Health Monitoring: Proactively monitor triage and resolve production bugs ANRs and crashes using observability tools to guarantee maximum app uptime.

• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior peers lead technical brainstorming sessions and foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the mobile team

Qualifications :

Skills

• Learning Agility & Continuous Growth: A proven ability to quickly learn adapt to and implement new technologies architectures or languages (such as exposure to GoLang in mobile environments or advanced reactive programming).

• Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of collaborating effectively across diverse engineering and product organizations.

• Core Android Mastery: Deep expertise in Kotlin Java and the Android SDK alongside strong proficiency in modern tools like Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Flow.

• Architectural Rigor: Mastery of Android Architecture components (MVVM Clean Architecture) Design Patterns SOLID principles and Dependency Injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt).

• Data & Networking Fluidity: Proficient with local data management (Room SQLite) multithreading (Coroutines) and enterprise-grade networking stacks (Retrofit OkHttp).

• Analytical Problem-Solving: Sharp diagnostics skills for profiling memory usage debugging complex concurrency issues and eliminating app crashes/ANRs.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 4 to 6 years of dedicated experience in native Android application development.

• Domain Expertise: Prior experience building scaling or maintaining high-transaction B2B SaaS enterprise or Employee Experience (EX/ITSM) mobile applications is highly preferred.

• Agile Mindset: Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced fluid environments where adapting to shifting business and technical requirements is the norm.

• Security & Quality Focus: Strong awareness of mobile application security best practices and a foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Community & Innovation (Plus): Active participation in developer communities mobile open-source contributions or a history of driving technical innovation in previous roles.
