Job Description:

You will be part of the Software development team in Chennai India working on software tools for our USB Hubs PCIe/USB Ethernet controllers. The job responsibilities include
Design and develop backend services and APIs with a focus on performance and reliability
Build and maintain service components in Rust or C
Write clean testable code and participate in code reviews
Integrate services with databases message queues and external systems as needed
Improve observability (logging metrics tracing) and troubleshooting production issues
Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern build tooling to streamline delivery
Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum of 7 - 10 years of software tools development experience
• Strong experience in Rust and modern C
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals (concurrency networking performance security basics)
• Experience with modern build systems and tooling (e.g. Cargo CMake Bazel Meson)
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and automated testing
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines
• Team player but able to work independently - a self-starter adaptable to rapidly changing market requirements
• Nice to Have gRPC and Protocol Buffers experience
• Familiarity with Docker/containers and deployment workflows and software upgrade process are preferred
