Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Engineer to support the development enhancement integration and maintenance of SAP applications while contributing to the organizations ongoing SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP development custom SAP solutions and system integrations along with exposure to S/4HANA concepts such as custom code remediation CDS Views and HANA-optimized development. The role requires close collaboration with functional consultants business stakeholders and project teams to deliver scalable high-quality SAP solutions and ensure a successful S/4HANA transformation.

Responsibilities:

Design develop test and support SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.

• Develop and maintain RICEF objects including Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms and Workflows.
• Create and enhance ALV Reports Smart Forms Adobe Forms User Exits Customer Exits BAdIs and Enhancement Framework objects.
• Develop and support integrations using IDOCs BAPIs RFCs OData Services APIs and middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business processes.
• Perform troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues and defects.
• Prepare technical specifications design documents unit test scripts and deployment documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Support system testing activities including SIT UAT Hypercare and production deployments.
• Contribute to the ongoing SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration by analyzing and remediating custom code for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Develop and optimize HANA-ready solutions using CDS Views AMDP and modern ABAP techniques where applicable.
• Perform custom code assessment simplification checks and performance optimization during migration activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition of business processes to SAP S/4HANA.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve application performance maintainability and user experience.
• Provide timely support for critical incidents and participate in release and change management activities.

Criteria & Management Requirements:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Migration CDS Views AMDP Fiori/OData development SAP CPI/PI integrations custom code remediation and HANA performance optimization.
