About the role

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design implement and optimize automation solutions across applications infrastructure and business processes. This role requires hands-on expertise in scripting automation frameworks and cloud deployments along with the ability to integrate automation into large-scale CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
As a senior member of the team you will contribute to architectural discussions mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality maintainable and secure automation solutions that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain advanced automation scripts frameworks and tooling.

• Optimize existing automation workflows for performance scalability and reliability.

• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Automate deployments and operations on cloud platforms (AWS).

• Collaborate with DevOps QA Operations and Product teams to align automation with system and business requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.

• Maintain clear technical documentation for all automation solutions.

• Contribute to automation best practices coding standards and governance processes.

• Mentor and support junior engineers in building automation skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience: 4-7 years in automation engineering test automation or DevOps-focused development roles.

• Proven track record of delivering automation solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of SDLC Agile and continuous delivery practices.

• Experience integrating automation solutions with large-scale systems and pipelines.

Skills

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python Java PowerShell Shell scripting.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium Jenkins GitHub Actions or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform Ansible.

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.

• Familiarity with cloud automation (AWS).

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).

• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
