Job Description: Senior Network Engineer (L3 Support Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer (L3 Support) to join our global Network Operations and Engineering team. This role is responsible for handling complex network issues driving root cause resolution and leading technical improvements and hardening initiatives across the network infrastructure.
The position plays a key role in stabilizing and evolving the network environment actively contributing to projects governance and operational excellence while mentoring junior engineers.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days presence in the office operating within an 8x5 support model and on call rotation with flexibility to support planned activities outside business hours for complex changes maintenance and project implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 network support handling escalations from L2 and internal users and resolving complex and critical incidents
- Perform deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis across LAN WAN SD-WAN Wi-Fi Internet DNS and security layers
- Lead and coordinate major incident resolution acting as technical authority on bridge calls
- Design and implement network hardening measures ensuring compliance with security and best practices
- Proactively identify and propose network improvements optimization and stability initiatives
- Participate in and lead network-related projects including rollout migration and transformation activities
- Review and execute complex changes in line with change management processes
- Ensure proper administration documentation and governance of network configurations and standards
- Maintain strong organization and tracking of actions risks and deliverables ensuring timely follow-up and closure
- Coordinate effectively with multiple teams (infrastructure security cloud vendors and business stakeholders)
- Provide technical mentorship guidance and training to L1.5/L2 engineers
- Contribute to runbooks knowledge base and operational procedures enhancement
Working Model
- Hybrid setup with 3 days per week in-office presence
- 8x5 working schedule aligned with business hours
- On-Call rotation schedule
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of:
- Routing & Switching (BGP OSPF VRF advanced troubleshooting)
- Network security (Firewalls VPNs NAC segmentation ACLs)
- WAN / SD-WAN architectures
- WiFi technologies (Cisco and Juniper)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco (routing/switching SD-WAN Wi-Fi)
- Cisco ISE (NAC authentication policy enforcement)
- Palo Alto (firewalls security policies)
- Juniper (routing switching or Mist)
- DDI (Infoblox)
- Strong capability in:
- End-to-end troubleshooting across multiple domains
- Packet capture analysis and log correlation
- Network performance and stability analysis
Experience
- 7 years of experience in network engineering / support roles
- Proven experience working at L3 level handling complex environments and escalations
- Experience with enterprise/global network environments
- Experience in project delivery and network transformation initiatives

- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong ownership and accountability for services and deliverables
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have
- Certifications such as CCNP CCIE PCNSE JNCIP or equivalent
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure AWS)
- Familiarity with zero trust and network segmentation frameworks (NIS2 alignment is a plus)
