Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Senior Manager Procurement located in Chennai Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the Wind Energy Manufacturing sector looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join their growing team.
- Lead indirect procurement activities and plant-related sourcing requirements for blade manufacturing operations.
- Develop and strengthen supplier networks to ensure uninterrupted production support.
- Negotiate commercial contracts pricing delivery schedules and service agreements.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through localization alternate sourcing and value engineering.
- Collaborate with Global Sourcing teams to optimize procurement spend and supplier performance.
- Manage procurement forecasting and buying plans based on production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with MNRE regulations customs tariffs and procurement governance.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Manufacturing Engineering Finance Legal and Supply Chain teams.
- Strategic Procurement Managing indirect and plant procurement categories.
- Vendor Development Identifying and onboarding reliable suppliers.
- Contract Management Negotiating and administering commercial agreements.
- Cost Optimization Driving savings through sourcing strategies.
- Supply Chain Planning Forecasting and inventory alignment.
- SAP/ERP Procurement Systems
- Global Sourcing Exposure
- Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
Candidates should possess 1218 years of procurement experience within manufacturing engineering renewable energy or industrial sectors. Prior exposure to plant procurement sourcing strategy and supplier development is preferred. Experience leading procurement teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments will be advantageous.
- Minimum: B.E /
- Preferred: MBA (Operations / Supply Chain)
- Additional: CPSM CSCP CIPS or equivalent certifications
