Senior Finance Manager , Advertising Finance

Over $600 billion is spent each year on digital advertising worldwide all while the industry experiences foundational changes in terms of media advertisers want to buy how potential customers spend time online and how AI is used to generate better outcomes per advertising dollar.
Amazon Advertising Finance is looking for a Finance leader to join Advertising Services organization to lead Advertiser Success Team (AST) finance. The role will be a direct finance partner to the Director of AST organization and will be responsible to work towards achieving advertisers service strategy through measurements driving efficiency and providing analytical support.
This role will work in close partnership with sales finance product partners and Ads Services Finance Analytics team. The successful candidate will be thoughtful analytical and has demonstrated ability to effectively influence the decisions of senior business leaders through clear verbal and written communication financial analysis and logical reasoning. The role operates in a fast-paced global autonomous and results-oriented environment and will be an important member of the business leadership team. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills including the ability to anticipate identify and communicate risks to senior leadership (including directors and VPs) across geographies and time zones.


Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include -
Develop financial insights and narratives during all planning forecasting and reporting cycles.
Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes including long range planning and OP1/OP2 planning processes.
Partner with finance teams across Advertising to standardize streamline and prioritize improvements remove roadblocks and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
Partner with the business teams to drive alignment between financial forecast and business plan of record.
Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from finance and business executives.
Identify and create business metrics to understand the operational and financial health of the business and drive improvement
Influence others insist on the highest standards have bias for action and challenge the status quo
Partner with Sales and Product teams to drive the prioritization of the roadmaps to drive efficiency.
Mentor finance analyst and finance managers


- 12 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 7 years of finance technology forecast & budgeting or other finance-focused competency experience
- 8 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

- MBA or CMA or CPA
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance accounting and operational processes
- Experience with Tableau Python SQB Quicksight Cognos or or other BI packages
