We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer Testing & Commissioning to oversee end-to-end testing validation and commissioning activities of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will ensure systems and installations meet design specifications safety standards and performance requirements within project timelines.
The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams resolving technical issues on-site and ensuring smooth project handover through structured testing and commissioning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all testing and commissioning activities for engineering projects.
- Develop review and execute detailed test plans procedures and commissioning protocols.
- Ensure all systems and installations comply with engineering design quality standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with design production procurement and project teams for smooth execution.
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring visits.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results commissioning reports and compliance records.
- Analyze performance data and recommend process improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Support final project handover and client acceptance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Civil Engineering or related field.
- 510 years of experience in Testing Commissioning or Project Execution roles (industrial/construction/manufacturing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems testing methodologies and commissioning standards.
- Experience in handling site execution and project coordination.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
