Senior Engineer – Engineering & Design
Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead mechanical design and engineering for modular process skids and static equipment - pressure vessels heat exchangers storage tanks columns and filters.
Study and interpret customer specifications and data sheets; perform mechanical design calculations manually and using design software in accordance with applicable codes.
Prepare and issue P&IDs GA drawings fabrication drawings bills of materials (BOMs) TDCs and equipment datasheets.
Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
Manage technical communication with customers for document approvals and resolution of engineering queries.
Coordinate closely with SCM Production QC and E&I teams to ensure design intent is correctly translated into fabricated output.
Maintain accurate version-controlled design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Contribute to standardisation of design templates calculation sheets and drawing formats for improved efficiency and repeatability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
5 8 years of hands-on experience in static process equipment and/or process skid design and engineering.
Solid working knowledge of pressure vessel and process skid design principles terminology and failure modes.
Demonstrated exposure to applicable codes and standards: ASME Section VIII Div. 1 ASME B31.3 API standards TEMA ASTM and EN standards.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools - AutoCAD and SolidWorks and PV- Elite
