Senior Embedded Testing Engineer

What you will do:

• Execute functional integration regression system and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
• Ensure timely completion of testing activities aligned with project plans.
• Deliver high-quality test artifacts through reviews and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore development and product teams.
• Support technical documentation related to testing.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and Design Controls.

What you need:
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics or related discipline
• 36 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing.
• Strong experience in designing documenting and reviewing test cases and test protocols.
• Experience in manual testing and automation using C C or Python
• Experience analyzing test results and preparing comprehensive test reports.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and ALM platforms such as Git and JIRA.
• Understands the theory and methods of data reading for Embedded communication protocoland can apply them under minimal supervision while demonstrating:
• Reading data of CAN bus UART/ RS232 I2C using communication cables.
• Experience in tools for monitoring embedded communication data.
• Reading data of UART/RS232 CAN I2C SPI using Oscilloscope
• 3 years of experience in firmware writing for UART/RS232 SPI CAN I2C communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing product scalability reliability consistency and performance.
• Participate in test planning estimation and test strategy discussions.
• Understanding of hardware subsystem interface and debugging in an embedded environment.
• Knowledgeable with tools for static/dynamic analysis memory management code coverage and techniques for analyzing software.
• Automotive Aerospace or Medical Device domain experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Device Software Development Lifecycle FDA regulations and IEC 62304.
• Experience with Python-based automation frameworks.
• Exposure to Embedded Testing on products like Surgical Table Light Camera etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
