Job Title: Senior Embedded Linux Engineer - Robotics / ROS 2
Experience: 7 Years Location: Bengaluru
Role: Individual Contributor
Must Have:
- 7 yrs Embedded Linux including 5 yrs Yocto/OpenEmbedded
- Strong BitBake Yocto layers recipes bbappend classes devtool
- Linux Kernel configuration patching driver bring-up & debugging
- Strong C/C Python & Shell
- ROS 2 - ament colcon DDS/RMW node lifecycle
- Embedded platform bring-up & BSP experience
- Strong debugging using ftrace perf etc.
Good to Have:
- meta-ros
- AMD platform / amdgpu / ROCm / HIP / XDNA
- PREEMPTRT CPU isolation IRQ affinity
- V4L2 Media Controller Camera/Sensor bring-up
- PCIe USB CAN PTP/time synchronization
- Secure Boot TPM dm-verity OTA (RAUC/Mender/OSTree)
- Hardware-in-loop CI and upstream contributions
Key Requirement: Deep Yocto Embedded Linux Kernel expertise. ROS 2 should be systems/platform-level experience not just ROS application development.
