Role:Senior Digital Designer (Figma)

About the role:
As a Digital Designer embedded within our clients in-house team you will be the resident expert in Figma. Working closely with the Studio Project Lead and wider creative and marketing teams you willbe responsible forcreating and adapting a broad range of digital assets that serve thetheclients brands across multiple channels and touchpoints.

Much of the clients existing creative output lives within Figma boards and your ability to navigate interrogate and build upon thoseestablishedframeworks will be fundamental to the role. From web banners and Google Ads to social assets and landing page designs you will take briefs and translate them into polished on-brand digital deliverables. While youwontbe responsible forbuilding or coding any of these assetsyoullbring a strong understanding of how design and digital production fit together appreciating the technical requirements and constraints that shape great digital design.

The majority ofyour work will sit within the B2B space so an understanding of B2B marketing conventions audiences and communication styles will be a distinct advantage. It comes with the expectation that you will own your discipline with confidence proactively contributing ideas clearly articulating your design decisions and presenting your work with authority to both internal teams and client stakeholders. As the teams go-to digital design expert you will set the bar for quality and bring a level of craft and strategic awareness that elevates everything you touch.

Whatyoullbe doing:

  • Working within and across existing client Figma boards to create adapt and scale digital assets with precision and consistency.
  • Designing a wide range of digital marketing assets including web banners social media content Google Ads and landing page designs tailored for their respective platforms and audiences.
  • Interpreting creative briefs and translating them into compelling on-brand digital designs that align with broader marketing and campaignobjectives.
  • Ensuring all design output is optimised for its intended digital environment with a clear understanding of how assets function within the wider digital ecosystem even where building or coding is handled by others.
  • Maintaining and evolving design consistency across Figma boards keeping files organised accessible and easy for the wider team to navigate and utilise.
  • Proactively bringing creative ideas and design solutions to briefs rather than waiting to be directed pushing the work beyond the expected.
  • Presenting design concepts and final deliverables confidently to internal teams and client stakeholders articulating the thinking behind your creative decisions.
  • Supporting the wider creative team with design production where needed using tools such as Adobe Photoshop to complement and enhance your Figma workflow.
  • Staying across digital design trends platform specifications and emerging tools to ensure the teams outputremainscurrent relevant and best-in-class.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Expert-levelproficiencyin Figma this is non-negotiable. You must be deeply comfortable working within complex multi-layered Figma environments and building upon pre-existing design systems and boards.
  • A strong portfoliodemonstratingexperience designing across a range of digital formats including web banners social assets Google Ads and landing pages.
  • A solid understanding of how digital assets are built and deployed with the technical awareness to design with production in mind even without hands-on development responsibilities.
  • Proficiencyin Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop as a complementary tool to your Figma-led workflow would beadvantageous
  • Experience working within a B2B marketing context is a significant advantage with an appreciation for how design serves business audiences and supports lead generation and commercial goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a refined eye for typography layout colour and hierarchy across digital formats.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to present and defend your creative decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive solutions-focused mindset you take ownership of your workanticipateneeds and consistently look for ways to improve the output without being prompted.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritising effectively and delivering to deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the interpersonal confidence to work fluidly across creative marketing and account teams.
