Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 57 years of experience in backend application development and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python AWS Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. The role involves designing developing and deploying scalable serverless applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
Develop and optimize data models using DynamoDB.
Build and maintain event-driven applications using AWS services.
Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Write clean maintainable and reusable code following software engineering best practices.
Perform code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance.
Work closely with Product Owners QA and other development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.

Required Experience
57 years of experience in Python backend development.
Strong hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications using Python.
Extensive experience with AWS services especially AWS Lambda API Gateway and DynamoDB.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
Good understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures.
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect) is an added advantage.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK).
Knowledge of cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Amazon CloudWatch.
Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have
Experience with messaging services such as Amazon SQS SNS or Apache Kafka.
Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and IAM.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance optimization.
Knowledge of additional NoSQL or relational databases.
