Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Calypso Developer with strong expertise in Calypso development capital markets and post-trade workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting end-to-end Calypso functionalities ensuring accurate trade processing system integration and high-quality delivery across various modules.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop customize and support Calypso applications and interfaces.
Work on Calypso Front Office Middle Office and Back Office functionalities.
Develop and maintain Calypso workflows scheduled tasks reports and custom modules.
Build and support integrations between Calypso and external systems using APIs web services and messaging technologies.
Configure and customize Calypso products trade processing and risk management functionalities.
Develop Java-based enhancements and customizations for the Calypso platform.
Perform requirement analysis technical design coding testing and deployment.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with business analysts traders operations teams and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards security policies and development best practices.
Support performance tuning debugging and application stability.
Must-Have Skills
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Calypso development and support.
Strong proficiency in:
Calypso
Java / J2EE
SQL
Oracle Database
Hands-on experience with Calypso APIs custom workflows and scheduled tasks.
Strong understanding of Capital Markets including:
Fixed Income
Equities
FX
Derivatives
Money Market Instruments
Experience with Calypso modules such as:
Trade Capture
Trade Confirmation
Settlements
Payments
Risk Management
Reporting
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in performance tuning debugging and production troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Calypso development experience.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work closely with technology business trading and operations teams to deliver and support Calypso solutions across the trade lifecycle. The role involves hands-on development customization integration production support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of the Calypso platform.

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role

To be successful in this role candidates should have:

Strong hands-on Calypso development experience.
Good understanding of capital markets and post-trade processes.
Strong Java SQL and Oracle development skills.
Experience developing Calypso workflows scheduled tasks interfaces and customizations.
Ability to analyze requirements and independently deliver technical solutions.
Strong production-support and troubleshooting capabilities.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Willingness to work 5 days from the CGI DLF Hyderabad office.
Willingness to work in the 1:00 PM10:00 PM shift.
