Senior BMS Specialist
Job Summary
About the Role
As a BMS Engineer you will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle from early-stage advisory and concept design to detailed engineering commissioning optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and specification of Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS)
- Development of smart building and automation strategies
- Control and integration of HVAC lighting energy monitoring security fire alarm and other building systems
- Preparation of technical specifications control descriptions and engineering documentation
- Development and review of network architectures and communication protocols
- Participation in commissioning testing and system validation
- Energy optimization and operational performance analysis
- Client advisory services and technical leadership in multidisciplinary projects
- Supporting digital twin and smart building initiatives
We are looking for an ambitious engineer who combines technical expertise with a strong customer focus and a passion for innovation.
Deep specialist expertise in building automation with a developed overall understanding of how the buildings technical installations and systems interact. Create optimal functional relationships and integrations between HVAC Electrical and control systems and have a central role in installation coordination to ensure that technical system solutions and construction support both the businesss needs energy efficiency and long-term operation in Nordic conditions.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering Building Services Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in BMS building automation industrial automation or smart building systems
- Experience with platforms such as Siemens Desigo Schneider EcoStruxure Honeywell Johnson Controls Trend Saia Burgess Controls Delta Controls Beckhoff or similar
- Understanding of communication protocols including BACnet Modbus Dali KNX LoRaWorks LonWorks and MQTT
- Experience with BIM and digital project environments is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient building technologies
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience from Nordic projects and conditions
