Senior BI Developer

Description:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role partners with business stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards reports and data models that deliver meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain BI solutions dashboards and reports.
• Develop underlying data models for reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers and the data platform team to ensure that the data available for reporting is aligned with the needs of business end users.
• Perform BI tool administrative tasks including managing licenses access groups and setting up new users.
• Provide training support for reporting tools.
• Independently identify and pursue data and process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics Business Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience navigating and scavenging data from relational databases.
• Experience with data prep tools to filter join and transform data from multiple disparate sources (SQL python PySpark Tableau Prep Power Query or similar tools).
• Experience creating reports in BI tools (Tableau Power BI Qlik or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Experience selling your analysis and insights to drive action leading to better business outcomes.
• Self-driven learner.
