Job Summary

Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our Buildings Places (BP) team. The role involves developing innovative sustainable and high-quality architectural solutions while managing projects through all design and delivery phases. The successful candidate will combine strong design capabilities with technical expertise and project coordination skills to ensure the successful execution of complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Project Delivery

  • Develop architectural concepts schematic designs detailed designs and construction documentation.
  • Deliver high-quality architectural solutions that meet client objectives technical requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare design presentations reports specifications and technical documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets timelines and quality standards.

Project Management & Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural MEP landscape and specialist consultants.
  • Manage project deliverables from concept through construction administration.
  • Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues during project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively mitigate design and delivery risks.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interface with clients contractors consultants and authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in client meetings workshops and presentations.
  • Support business development activities including proposal preparation and project pursuits.

Technical Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and industry standards.
  • Review drawings and specifications for quality accuracy and constructability.
  • Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into project solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging architectural trends materials and digital delivery tools.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture (.).
  • Masters Degree in Architecture is preferred.
  • Registered Architect with relevant professional body/council registration.
  • 10-15 years of architectural design and project delivery experience (depending on grade level).
  • Experience in commercial mixed-use institutional hospitality healthcare data center industrial or large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit BIM workflows SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks Enscape Lumion Rhino or similar visualization tools is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of building systems construction methodologies and design standards.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks and green building principles.
