Safety Officer

We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Panaji this role you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of health safety and environmental compliance. This is a proactive opportunity for a professional who is committed to maintaining a secure workplace and ensuring that all operational activities align with safety regulations and best practices.

• Develop implement and monitor comprehensive Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with local and national safety regulations and internal corporate standards.
• Lead safety briefings training sessions and toolbox meetings for employees and contractors to foster a culture of safety awareness.
• Oversee the investigation of any workplace incidents or near-misses preparing detailed reports and recommending preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to safety audits permits and inspections.
• Collaborate with management to integrate safety protocols into daily operational workflows.
• Monitor the availability and proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the facility.

• Education:
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in an HSE or Safety Officer role.
• Skills: Thorough knowledge of HSE standards and proven ability to act as an effective Safety Officer.
• Certifications:
• Communication: Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate safety protocols clearly to diverse teams.
