Key Responsibilities
- Handle cash card and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Operate POS and cash register systems efficiently.
- Scan products and process customer bills.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Perform cash counting and daily cash reconciliation.
- Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout counter.
- Follow company cash-handling security and store procedures.
- Report billing or payment issues to the supervisor.
- Support other store operations when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience as a Cashier in a supermarket hypermarket retail store or FMCG environment.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems billing and cash handling.
- Good numerical and transaction-handling skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Willingness to work in shifts weekends and public holidays.
- Basic English communication skills preferred.
- Candidates from Siliguri and Meghalaya are highly preferred. Candidates from other parts of Northeast India are also welcome to apply.
Required Skills:
15 years of experience as a Cashier in a supermarket hypermarket retail store or FMCG environment. Good communication and customer-service skills.
